Toast has been living in a foster home, where he has been learning all about life outside the shelter and making wonderful progress every day. He’s still looking for his forever family and is ready to find a home where he can continue to thrive.

Toast can be a little stubborn when it comes to training, but he is smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn with the right encouragement. One of Toast’s best qualities is how wonderfully he walks on a leash. He stays right by your side and makes an excellent walking companion, whether you’re taking a quick neighborhood stroll or heading out for a longer adventure. Since moving into foster care, Toast has made huge strides in his confidence and manners. He is comfortable in his crate and he’s also learned a lot about sharing space and understanding household routines.
He can be a little reserved when meeting new people and may prefer to take things at his own pace, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet and loyal personality shines through.
