Our Urgent Need
Since 1928, we’ve been a lifeline for over 150,000 homeless cats and dogs. But we urgently need your help to continue our lifesaving work. Our facility is failing in many ways:
- Severely sinking foundations
- Antiquated HVAC systems & poor ventilation
- No functional isolation areas for sick cats and dogs
- No indoor exercise or meet-and-greet space for dogs in inclement weather
- Housing that struggles to meet current sheltering standards for animal health
Your new community animal shelter
With your help, we’re building a modern, safe, and welcoming shelter on our current site. The new facility will include:
- Dedicated medical care and isolation areas for both cats and dogs
- Individual air exchangers in every housing area
- Small-group cat housing for healthy socialization
- Protected outdoor spaces (catios) for cats
- Larger dog kennels with 24/7 outdoor access
- Indoor meet-and-greet and exercise space for dogs
- A community room for training, education, and events
