For more than a year, Dante has been waiting for a family to see what everyone at Orphans of the Storm already knows—that he’s an incredible dog.
Whether he’s on a walk, playing with a ball in the yard, relaxing at home, or simply keeping you company, Dante is an easy companion who’s happy to be part of whatever you’re doing. Gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loyal, he forms deep bonds with everyone he meets. He’s housebroken, has wonderful house manners, settles easily into a routine, and is so trustworthy that his foster families don’t even need to crate him.
Dante is looking for a home where he can be the only dog, allowing him to soak up all the love and attention he deserves.
Dante does have ongoing orthopedic medical needs, and his future family should be prepared to support his care and help keep him comfortable. The good news is that these needs don’t define him. He moves well, manages stairs with ease, enjoys walks, loves to play, and still gets bursts of joyful zoomies.
