Calm, affectionate but not clingy, housebroken, and playful… What more could you want in a dog? Stevie checks all the boxes and her foster home has described her as "the easiest dog they've had in their house." Still, Stevie has been waiting over a year for her forever home.
Is it because she doesn't want another pet as a roommate? She has learned to be polite and ignore dogs passing in the neighborhood, but she doesn't want another pet to disturb her peace at home. Other dog friends are a maybe, but she really just wants to hang with her people. She's sophisticated like that.
Stevie will keep you organized and on schedule. She likes to put her toys away (she knows where, you don't need to know), reminds her people when it's bed time and dinner time, and will make sure you both are getting your daily walk to do neighborhood surveillance. No need to put an alarm on for your daily routine, Stevie is the perfect household manager!
