Please meet Morty! He is as sweet, friendly, and fun as he is adorable. At only 8 months old, he is just barely out of puppyhood and navigating being a young adult dog. He loves receiving lots of pets, snacking on some good treats, going for walks, and knows "sit". He is incredibly smart and eager to learn. Morty came to us as a transfer from Lake County Animal Control after being found in Zion. His previous owner was able to be contacted but they had to sadly surrender him due to their landlord not allowing dogs. Since he recently arrived at Orphans, we are still getting to know him but we do know Morty will be a wonderful addition to a family who would enjoy lots of playtime and cuddle time with a handsome and intelligent dog like him!
