Rio is super affectionate. He loves to greet everyone with a happy doggy hug, though his new family may want to teach him that that's not always the most polite greeting. Rio also likes to snuggle and will quickly join you on the bench to put his front paws in your lap and cover your face in enthusiastic doggy kisses. Close is never close enough for Rio! He literally sits on top of people's feet when you stand still and will patiently stay there until you move again. Rio also loves to romp around the yard with toys and will chew on his favorite toy next to you while you scratch his back and hips. Rio participates in play groups and likes to play with the rough and rowdy dogs, so he could go to a home with or without another dog.
