Eight year old Gunner is kind of the perfect dog! He is a giant couch potato when he is in the house, where he is house trained and loves to snuggle and be with his people. In his foster home, he lives with two other dogs and shares everything with them - he knows whose food is whose and is pretty chill about stuff like that. He loves everyone he meets, young and old. He loves having a doggy bed of his own and really likes having a toy basket full of toys. When it's outside time, he loves to play with the other dogs, loves to chase a ball and loves his walks He is great on leash and likes to lead the way, but if he pulls, all 115 pounds of him pull, so he needs a person who can handle a big strong goof of a guy if he gets excited when on leash. He has free run of the house when they are gone and does not prefer or need a crate at their house. His foster family said he was anxious when he first moved in, but once he realized he was "home, he settled in and is fine when they leave. We all want him to find his perfect and forever home that will allow him that transition time. His foster family says he is amazing and a perfect family big lug of a dog. They said he knows "eat and "out and is a smart and trainable boy. To inquire about or to arrange a meeting with Gunner, please email or call the shelter.
