Dogs

Earnestine's foster parent has given her the nickname "Teenie" and says she is very sweet with people and loves the petting and attention! She rarely barks and is calm when people come into the home. She was initially crated and was fine with time in the crate. But she is house/potty trained, no accidents so she has been given free-reign of the house and typically sleeps in her own bed at night. Teenie is currently living in a condo without a yard, so gets 3 walks a day. She's a late-riser, so her morning potty break is typically around 10 am. Then she gets a longer (30 minute) walk later in the day, and just needs a night-time potty break. She walks best on a harness--can pull some with just collar--and is rarely reactive around other dogs. She's fine around people, though can get a bit nervous with heavy traffic. Teenie knows "sit" "paw" and is working on "down." and responds to her name. She's not very interested in toys but enjoys a Kong with treats, especially peanut butter, in it. She likes hard treats, carrots and dental chews. She has been eating dry kibble (one scoop, twice a day) soaked in water, as her teeth are not in excellent shape. Teenie would be best as the only pet in the house. Otherwise she is low-maintenance and loves to spent time and cuddle with her people
