Dogs
Douglas is a little shy when he first comes out of his kennel, but perks up the longer he's out. Every time you kneel down to his level, he tucks his head into your lap and leans into you. It is so sweet! Douglas loves getting his sides and hips rubbed when he does this. He'll happily stay in this position until you stand up again. Douglas gets more playful as you spend more time together. He has a lot of fun chasing after toys and chewing on stuffed squeakers. Douglas walks nicely on the leash and rarely pulls. He's been in one play group so far and did pretty well, though he was getting a little anxious being with several other large males. We'll find the right friends for him!
