Hi my name is Chica. I am 4-5 years old, but I’m a puppy at heart! People tell me I am a Mountain Cur. I am loyal and protective of my family, but when I’m introduced, I instantly warm up and am just the sweetest! When my dad comes home or my dog walker comes over, I get so excited I just have to hug them! My whole body wiggles! I love affection and my tail constantly wags. I’m pretty quiet and don’t bark much, which is good because I used to live in an apartment. I can be excitable and play, but I also love to just chill, snuggle and lay next to you. I’m very affectionate and did I mention I love to give hugs and kisses?! My dog walker got me this cool food puzzle that I just love to play with! It’s so much fun! She has given me baths and trims my nails sometimes – it feels good, so I let her do it – she tells me I’m perfect! I’m pretty good on my walks. When I see birds or squirrels I really wanna chase them but my dog walker says that’s not nice and asks me to leave it, so I let it go.
I’m looking for a new place to crash. I was adopted a number of months back, my dad was a retired, disabled US Marine Veteran. He adored me, but has been sick and in and out of the hospital. That’s how I met my dog walker! She would come a bunch of times each day to take me on walks, feed me and sometimes bring me presents! My dad asked her to help find me a loving family and forever home. She loves me so much, she’s fostering me and wants me to get adopted to the BEST fur-ever home! Is that you?
