Ginny came to us as an owner surrender. They were moving and could no longer keep her. While being in the shelter she has been pretty shy. She does welcome pets though and seems to warm up pretty quickly. Since she lived in a home previously we were able to get a little more information on her. She has lived with children and a dog before and does well with both. Loud noises seem to freak her out. She, however, does not like to be carried around. She doesn't mind being pet and brushed though.
