Bard is a very handsome orange tabby gentleman who was found as a stray and transferred to us from Waukegan. When he first arrived, Bard was understandably overwhelmed—life on the streets had taken a toll, and he was nursing an infected dewclaw that has since been treated and is healing beautifully. Though a bit shy, Bard is a gentle soul with a quiet charm. He’s still learning to trust and take in the safety and kindness of his new environment, but with a little patience and love, he’s sure to blossom. Bard would thrive in a calm, understanding home where he can continue to heal, decompress, and reveal the sweet nature beneath his cautious exterior.
