Lola is very much a girl. She was a recent momma dog but came in without any puppies. She is a bit skinny and would benefit from some good groceries. She is loving and affectionate. Happy to take treats. Still young would probably do well in a household that will shower her with love. A fenced yard may be beneficial for her as she loves to stop and stiff around. Basset Hounds are an especially friendly breed. For this reason they usually make excellent pets. Bassets are known to be a vocal breed that might howl or bark when they want something or to suggest that something is wrong. They also use a low, murmuring whine to get attention, which sounds as if they are talking. They require a moderate amount of exercise like going for a daily walk. Get acquainted with this dog off leash in one of our family run areas. Most dogs will need to run off some energy before they settle down and get acquainted with you. Thanks!
