Sir is a wonderful and loving dog. He is active and playful and loves other dogs. He is just not a fan of strangers. He likes his people and would do best in a house without a lot of people coming and going. Sir can be a little wound up when he first comes out of his kennel, but give him a few minutes to settle down and then you’ll see what a sweetie he is. Sir wanted to play tug-of-war with the leash when at first, but by the time we got to the woodland preserve, he wasn’t paying it any attention at all and walked pretty well. We found a quiet spot along the trail where he sat right at our feet and gave us some doggy kisses while we petted him. When we went to the off-leash run, Sir loved chasing after a tennis ball but needs some practice bringing it back so his person can throw it again. Sir would do best in an adult home with an experienced dog owner. If that description fits you, be sure to say hi to Sir on your next visit! Get acquainted with this dog off leash in one of our family run areas. Most dogs will need to run off some energy before they settle down and get acquainted with you. Thanks!
