Groot is a handsome, yet shy boy who likes to take his time when it comes to meeting new people. He will often sit under a blanket or somewhere covered and watch you from a distance in order to gauge whether you're a friend or not. One way to become his friend is to take a wand toy and play with him. He loves chasing after wand toys and will usually feel much more comfortable once he has a positive interaction with you. Although Groot currently resides in our main cat house with other cats, he came into the shelter with his brother, Thor, who has since been adopted, so now Groot is just trying to adjust to life on his own. He loves other cats and would love a playmate! This bashful boy is looking for a family or someone special to show him that the world's not such a scary place.
