He's a very low maintenance kitty who adheres to a daily schedule - in the mornings he loves to play with his wand toy and scratching post, and then spends the afternoons snoozing in his favorite spots around the house. He enjoys watching "squirrel TV" through the window, and will sit by any screen door to sniff the outdoor smells. The quirkiest thing about him? He loves to be held on your shoulder and will give little love bites on your nose! Foster feels that Notch should not be adopted by a first time cat owner. Notch requires time to acclimate to a new environment. Because he was a stray cat at one point in his life, he is skittish around loud noises and abrupt movements in the beginning. But as he learns to feel safe in his forever home these characteristics go away, and his chill and stoic personality can really shine! Notch will do best in a calm home without small children and other animals. He would greatly appreciate a kitty condo and multiple scratching posts. He likes to do his own thing, and will let you know when he wants cuddles and attention. He would be a wonderful addition to your life if you're looking for a handsome, quirky, and independent cat! Notch loves to be brushed and gets along well with others. Notch is one cool cat and Everyone who meets him instantly falls in love!
