Our Monthly Make-Over
Orphans of the Storm has partnered with Loving Care Pet Services to reveal the hidden beauty of a shelter dog each month. With a bath and the proper grooming techniques we will transform a new shelter arrival from a tangled mutt into a beautiful well-groomed canine companion. See the before and after photos for yourself, read each dog's bio and get acquainted with the background stories of these wonderful diamonds-in-the-rough. Master groomer, Rene will share some simple grooming tips that you can do at home to help keep your own best friend looking smart and well groomed. Astro
Master groomer Rene took over and gave Astro a nice long warm bath and blow dry, and trim to keep the collie cut a bit longer...wow his fur was so soft. They did his nails, ears and teeth too. The Loving Care grooming team prides themselves on the quality and care they provide to every dog and cat: scented and unscented shampoos and conditioners, hypoallergenic shampoos for sensitive skin, and gentle and caring technique. They really try to make the grooming experience as stress-free as possible. Astro was awesome and someone will be very lucky to make a special home for him.
